FISHING IN SEA

Sotra Rorbusenter is sheltered for bad weather and winds.
You can fish from both quay and floating stages.
Or you can rent a boat and go fishing in the fjord or in the open sea around islets and skerries.
It takes you 15 min in boat to reach one of the best fishing places in the open sea in Norway.

Because large amounts of cod comes in to the fjords in winter to spawn, Sotra Rorbusenter is a great place for you if you like fishing at all times of the year.

To avoid contamination of the water, each gutting table is equipped with a watertight tub for collecting of gut.

When you are returning from a fishing trip, you can relax on the porch and prepare the catch on the barbecue.

It is legal to fish for lobster between 1. October and 1. June.
When you are using crab pots outside of the lobster season, pots must have escape exits for lobster at minimum 80 mm.
